Facebook to Roll Out New Video Retention Metrics

Facebook is set to introduce enhancements to the video retention graph of pages in video insights. The metric will help admin to segregate the audience in the following:

  • Followers vs non-followers
  • Audience demographics retention by gender
  • Zoom chart -to get a closer look at data and how key moments affected viewership in a video

Facebook further said that the data in the video graph will be more accurate now for videos longer than two minutes. The new metric is expected to roll out for page admins by coming weeks.
