Google renovates News Products to Give More Insights to Readers

Google is renovating its News products to make it stronger consisting of YouTube videos, tweets and traditional articles. The new iteration aims at balancing AI fuelled personalisation with features to avoid getting stuck in “filter bubbles” and preconceived opinion or notion.

Users using the app will find main new stories, and stories based on their personalised interest. Users also opt for two features “full coverage” and “headlines” to get unfiltered access to news.

It is an important announcement done at the I/O Conference by Google CEO, Sundar Pichai.
